Product Information:

The VITUSsmart 3D body scanner, with a remarkably short scanning process of 12 seconds, enables high-precision three-dimensional recording of body measurements. An array of relevant anthropometric data can be recorded automatically and without contact. The entirely optical scan process is harmless to health and eyes.
 
The quality of readings taken satisfies scientifically verifiable quality criteria. The results of the scan, including all data, can be accessed immediately after the scan process. All 3D scans can be provided as finished OBJ or STL files within a very short space of time.

Its modular design enables the VITUSsmart 3D body scanner to be used in the form of the space-saving VITUSsmart LC version (3-column model) or the large-format VITUSsmart XXL version (4-column model), depending on the area of use and the amount of data required.

Measurement principle of the light-section method (triangulation)
The light-section method is used to measure a height profile along a projected line of light (usually a laser light). For this purpose, the laser light source projects a line onto the object measured. The camera, directed at the line from a different angle, records the projection of the line on the object as a height profile. Moving the line on the object creates a three-dimensional image.
