Introduction
One of the most important parameters in a filter or membrane is the first bubble point or FBP. This point defines the largest pores present inside the material. ASTM F-316 defines the FBP as the pressure at which the first continuous stream of bubbles is detected.
In the POROMETER FBP Tester the pressure is automatically raised in a linear way and the first bubble point is visually determined as the pressure at which the first stream of bubbles is seen. This pressure is automatically calculated into a pore size thus giving the largest pore in the sample.

Configuration
The sample holder is built in stainless steel and the standard diameter of the sample is 50 mm. Other sizes are available upon request.
