The FAA NexGen Burner Apparatus is available as the Seat Cushion, Power Plant, Cargo Liner or Magnesium configurations.The Seat Cushion test evaluates the fire resistance and mass loss characteristics of aircraft seat cushions when exposed to a very high intensity open flame ignition source to show compliance to the requirements of FAR 25.853.
