ASTM International (ASTM International's standardisation organisation) has developed a number of standards for testing construction materials. Those standards cover a wide range of areas, including concrete, mortar, metals, plastics, and composites.

There are many ASTM standards for testing construction materials. The following are some of the commonly used ASTM International standards:

1. ASTM E84:
This is a standard for testing the flame spread and smoke index of building materials. This test method evaluates the burning performance and smoke production of a material under fire conditions.

2. ASTM E119:
This is a standard for determining the flame delay time and fire resistance of building elements. It simulates the fire behaviour of building elements under standard flame conditions and is used to evaluate the fire resistance of the elements.

3. ASTM C39:
This is a standard for determining the compressive strength of concrete. It specifies methods for preparing and loading test specimens for use in evaluating the load-bearing capacity of concrete under pressure.

4. ASTM C518:
This is a standard for determining the thermal conductivity of building materials. It specifies test methods and apparatus for evaluating parameters such as thermal resistance and thermal conductivity of materials.

5. ASTM E331:
This is a standard for determining the watertightness of building facade materials. It evaluates the watertightness and durability of façade materials through tests that simulate rain impact.

In addition to the above standards, ASTM has developed many other test methods and specifications related to building materials. These standards cover mechanical properties, chemical properties, durability, sustainability and other aspects of building materials. When testing building materials, the appropriate ASTM standard can be selected based on specific test requirements and material properties to ensure the accuracy and comparability of test results.

It is important to note that the numbering and content of ASTM standards are updated and revised over time. Therefore, the latest edition of an ASTM standard should be consulted for accurate testing requirements and guidance before testing is performed.
