AATCC Schopper Abrasion Tester test program

 

1) Remove the metal sample holder of the AATCC Schopper Abrasion Tester, and place the sample on the plate attached to the tape. Replace the metal sample holder.

 

2) Install the friction cloth on the friction pin, and fix the cloth with jubilee clips.

 

3) Lower the friction head onto the fabric sample of the rotary vertical friction meter, and perform the required number of frictions by turning the handle.

4) After completing the required number of rubs, raise the rubbing head and remove the sample and rubbing cloth.

 

5) If the wet fabric has been tested, let the rubbing cloth dry at room temperature.
