Product Information:

Liquid crystal touch impact testing machine is mainly used for hard plastics (including sheet, pipe, plastic profile), reinforced nylon, glass fiber reinforced plastic, ceramic, cast stone, electrical insulation materials and other non-metallic materials impact toughness measurement, widely used in the chemical industry, scientific research units, universities and other quality testing departments.

Standards

(1)GB/T 11022-2020. GB/T 3906-2020. JB/T 10840-2008.GB/T 7251.1-2013 ,GB/T 7251.4-2017.GB/T 7251.5-2017 ,GB/T 20641-2014

(2)GB/T 20138-2006 ,GB/T2423.55-2006 ,Q/GDW11008-2013

Main features

Not poor quality: the use of high hardness and high-precision bearings, and the use of shaftless photoelectric sensors, fundamentally eliminate the loss caused by friction, to ensure that the friction energy loss is far less than the standard requirements.

Intelligent prompt: According to the impact of the situation, intelligent prompt working status, always interact with the experimenter, to ensure the success rate of the test.

Friendly interface: there are parameter setting interface - result query interface - measurement interface - system setting interface, each operation has a clear user prompt, you can record 10 test records, you can choose domestic and international standards, you can choose Chinese and English.

Accurate measurement: In full accordance with the provisions of the new standard, after 10 swing cycles for a calculation of energy loss, each measurement to go through 3 times to average, to ensure the accuracy of energy loss.

Test Procedures

1. Pre-Operation Inspection

Ensure the power supply is properly connected and the machine is grounded.

Check that the pendulum, supports, and safety guards are in good condition.

Verify that the pendulum swings freely without obstruction.

Confirm that the selected hammer (impact energy) matches the test requirements.

2. Specimen Preparation and Installation

Prepare specimens according to relevant standards (e.g., correct dimensions and notch type).

Place the specimen on the support anvils (for Charpy) or clamp it vertically (for Izod).

Ensure the notch direction is correctly positioned facing the impact side.

3. System Setup (PLC Touch Screen)

Power on the machine and access the PLC LCD interface.

Set test parameters, including:

Test type (Charpy / Izod)

Pendulum energy level

Number of tests

Units (Joules, etc.)

Reset the system to zero before testing.

4. Pendulum Preparation

Lift the pendulum to the starting position (initial angle).

Lock it securely using the release mechanism.

Ensure no personnel are within the safety zone.

5. Start the Test

Close the safety shield.

Press the “Start” or “Release” button on the touchscreen or control panel.

The pendulum will strike the specimen and break it.

6. Data Measurement and Recording

The system automatically calculates the absorbed impact energy.

Test results (impact energy, average values, etc.) are displayed on the LCD screen.

Data can be stored or exported via the PLC system.

7. Post-Test Operation

Wait until the pendulum comes to a complete stop.

Remove the broken specimen carefully.

Reset the pendulum for the next test.

8. Shutdown Procedure

Turn off the machine via the control panel.

Cut off the main power supply if not in use for a long time.

Clean the test area and remove debris.

FAQ

(1) What is this product?

A PLC LCD Touch Impact Testing Machine (Simple Suspension) is a pendulum-type material testing device used to measure the impact resistance and toughness of materials. It integrates a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) with an LCD touchscreen interface, enabling automated control, precise measurement, and real-time data display.

(2) What is this product used for?

This machine is used to determine how materials behave under sudden impact loading. It is mainly applied to:

Measure impact energy absorption

Evaluate material toughness and brittleness

Perform Charpy and Izod impact tests

Conduct quality control and material comparison

It is widely used for testing metals, plastics, composites, and other engineering materials.
