Applications:

This equipment is suitable for environmental simulation reliability tests, such as evaluating the corrosion resistance of products or metal materials under artificially simulated salt spray conditions.Using this equipment for purposes other than the above may cause personal injury or equipment damage.

Product Information:

The Sulfur Dioxide + Composite Salt Spray Test Chamber is a precision environmental testing device used to simulate harsh environmental conditions and accelerate the evaluation of the corrosion resistance performance of materials and products.

Standards

GB/T 10125-1997: "Corrosion Tests in Artificial Atmospheres – Salt Spray Test"

GB/T 10587-2006: "Technical Conditions for Salt Spray Test Chambers"

GB/T 1771-2007: "Paints and Varnishes – Determination of Resistance to Neutral Salt Spray"

GB10593.2-1990: "Measurement Methods for Environmental Parameters of Electrical and Electronic Products"

QB/T 3826-1999: "Neutral Salt Spray Test Method (NSS) for Corrosion Resistance of Metal Coatings and Chemical Treatment Layers of Light Industry Products"

QB/T 3827-1999: "Acetic Acid Salt Spray Test Method (ASS) for Corrosion Resistance of Metal Coatings and Chemical Treatment Layers of Light Industry Products"

GB/T 12967.3-2008: "Detection Methods for Anodized Coatings on Aluminum and Aluminum Alloys – Part 3: Copper Accelerated Acetic Acid Salt Spray Test (CASS)"

GB 5226.1: Safety of Machinery – Electrical Equipment of Machines – Part 1: General Requirements

Test Conditions

Neutral Salt Spray Test (NSS)

Test chamber: 35℃, Saturated air tank: 47℃

Acetic Acid Salt Spray Test (ASS)

Test chamber: 35℃, Saturated air tank: 47℃

Copper-Accelerated Acetic Acid Salt Spray Test (CASS)

Test chamber: 50℃, Saturated air tank: 63℃

This model is suitable for long-term CASS testing.

Note: Long-term acid testing is not recommended before performing neutral tests, as incomplete cleaning may affect the pH value of neutral tests.

Accessories

Storage rod, 1 set;

NaCl reagent, 500g, 4 bottles;

5 kg (L) saline preparation measuring cup, 1 pc;

80cm² standard cup, 2 pcs for collection;

50ml measuring cylinder, 2 pcs.

Daily Maintenance

1. If idle for >5 days, drain saline solution and rinse chamber and sprayer components.

2. Regular inspection of air pressure regulator.

3. After long idle, check electrical control system before restarting, especially temperature controller and timer relay.

4. For clogged nozzles, clean with alcohol, toluene, or 1:1 HCl, or clear with fine wire; avoid damaging inner surface to maintain spray quality.
