Grinding Wheel Sandblasting Hardness Tester
BACKStandards:
Applications:
Used for measuring the hardness of grinding wheels bonded with clay or resin, with grit size ranging from 36# to 150# and hardness grades from F to Y. The thickness of the grinding wheel to be tested shall not be less than twice the depth of the indentation, and the area shall not be less than 30 mm × 30 mm.
Product Information:
Working Principle
This machine uses compressed air at a certain pressure to spray a fixed volume of quartz sand onto the surface of the grinding wheel, forming a small indentation. The hardness of the grinding wheel is determined by the depth of the indentation: higher hardness results in a shallower indentation, while lower hardness results in a deeper indentation. A reference table is provided on the machine to correlate indentation depth with the corresponding grinding wheel hardness.
