This tester is designed for right-angle flexing resistance tests on rubber products, shoe soles, PU materials, and other flexible materials. The test specimen is subjected to continuous stretching and bending cycles, after which it is examined for deterioration, damage, and crack formation to evaluate its flexing durability and fatigue resistance.
Main Functions
Mount the strip-shaped sole test specimen or the complete sole on the ROSS Flexing Tester, ensuring that the cut notch is positioned directly above the center of the machine's pivot shaft. The tester drives the specimen to perform a free 90-degree flexing motion around the shaft. After a specified number of flexing cycles, measure the length of the cut notch in the specimen. The flexing resistance of the specimen is then evaluated based on the rate of crack growth or the increase in notch length.
