Product Information:

The De Mattia Flexing Tester (Method A) is designed to evaluate the flexing fatigue resistance of rubber, leather, synthetic leather, coated fabrics, shoe soles, and other flexible materials. Specimens mounted on the tester are repeatedly bent under continuous flexing cycles, and the degree of cracking is observed to assess the durability and flex resistance of the materials.

Main Function

This tester is mainly used to determine the crack resistance performance of rubber, polymers, and coated fabrics after repeated 180° reciprocating flexing. It helps evaluate the fatigue resistance and service durability of flexible materials under repeated bending conditions.

Standards

The tester complies with the following standards:

(1) ISO 7854 Method A — Rubber- or plastics-coated fabrics — Determination of resistance to damage by flexing

(2) BS 3424 — Methods of testing coated fabrics

(3) GB/T 12586 — Rubber- or plastics-coated fabrics — Determination of resistance to damage by flexing

(4) GB/T 13934-2006 Method A — Testing method for flex cracking resistance of vulcanized rubber

(5) EN ISO 2023 Annex E — Rubber footwear testing requirements
