The Transepidermal Water Loss (TEWL) Tester is designed for measuring transepidermal water loss (TEWL) and is considered the preferred method for evaluating skin integrity as specified by pharmacopoeias in many countries.This instrument adopts the closed-chamber (non-ventilated chamber) method. Compared with the ventilated chamber method, it is not affected by changes in external humidity or airflow, enabling fast and accurate measurement of transepidermal water loss.
