Standards:

Applications:

The tester is suitable for:

EPS (Expanded Polystyrene), mineral wool, glass wool, polyurethane foam, and other insulation materials

Building materials – floors, walls, furniture, and panels

Industrial inspection and quality control for thermal and acoustic insulation products

Aerospace and aviation products – material performance testing

Sports flooring and rubber/plastic products – dynamic stiffness evaluation

Product Information:

This is a Dynamic Stiffness Tester for Resilient Layers Used in Floating Floors for Building Acoustics. It adopts the resonance method to measure the dynamic stiffness per unit area (s′, MN/m³) of rubber, cork, and foam-based acoustic insulation pads, and is used to evaluate the impact sound insulation performance of floating floor systems. It is not a general-purpose rubber dynamic/static fatigue testing machine. Instead, it is a specialized instrument designed specifically for testing resilient layers used in floating floors according to European standards.

Standards:

The instrument complies with:

EN 29052-1 – Acoustics: Measurement of dynamic stiffness, Part 1: Residential floating floor coverings

ISO 9052 – Acoustics: Determination of dynamic stiffness, Part 1: Residential floor coverings

Hardware Specifications:

(1)Loading Plate

Loading plate shape: Square

Loading plate size: 200 mm × 200 mm

Total static mass: 8 kg

Static pressure: 2 kPa

The complete calibrated loading plate assembly must be supplied as a standard configuration and cannot be provided as an optional accessory.

(2)Sample Accommodation

Maximum measurable sample thickness with vertical clearance: 30 mm

(3)Excitation and Frequency Measurement

Adopts the resonance frequency sweep method, covering the resonance point of the mass-spring system.

Equipped with high-precision force sensors and acceleration sensors for accurate signal acquisition.

The entire instrument is installed on an anti-vibration granite base to minimize interference caused by structural resonance and ensure reliable test accuracy.

(4)Mandatory Software Output Functions

The software shall automatically calculate and output:

Resonance frequency (fr)

Dynamic stiffness per unit area (s′), unit: MN/m³

The software shall support:

Output and printing of FRF (Frequency Response Function) curves

Generation and printing of resonance curve diagrams

Core Functions of the Equipment:

Applies a standard 8 kg static load to a 200 × 200 mm resilient acoustic insulation specimen and performs vibration frequency sweeping to identify the resonance peak of the mass-spring system.

Collects force and acceleration signals to generate the FRF (Frequency Response Function) curve.

The software automatically calculates the resonance frequency (fr) and dynamic stiffness per unit area (s′, MN/m³), and supports test report export and resonance curve printing.
