AATCC Shrinkage Scale without Texpen.The template is used to write side up with the two index lines on the left hand side of the template. Making sure that the fabric is in a flat position, place the template on the specimen to be marked.
Using a permanent ink-marking pen (an AATCC marking pen or other suitable marker that is fast to home and commercial laundering), mark the fabric through the slot between the two index lines on the left side of the template. Then mark either the 10 inches (center), or the 18 inches (right hand) slot of the template. Be sure that the template does not move during marking.
