Light transmittance test machine for fabric  is used to determine the total visible light transmittance of the fabric to evaluate the shading properties of the fabric and is suitable for sheet textile products such as curtains.

Product Information:

The Fabric Light Transmittance Test Machine measures the opacity of fabrics. A stable incandescent light source emits light of a certain intensity, which passes through a coated fabric. Using a standard tester, the amount of light transmitted through a 100 cm² area of the fabric—after absorption and blocking by the coated material—is measured and compared with the original light without a sample. The result is expressed as the transmittance percentage.

Principle

1. A light source (light bulb) is illuminated, and the light is irradiated to the photodetector of the illuminance meter;

2. Adjust the brightness of the light source to 10.000 (1X);

3. Determine the illuminance of the sample;
