Standards:

Applications:

The tester is suitable for evaluating down-proof performance in textiles for jackets, comforters, sleeping bags, and other down-filled products. It is ideal for quality control, R&D, and production inspection, ensuring that materials resist feather penetration and maintain integrity under repeated use.

Product Information:

The Fabric Downproof Tester (Rolling Box) is designed to evaluate the down-proof performance of textiles by simulating friction and impact stresses similar to real-world use. It ensures that fabrics used in garments, bedding, and outdoor products prevent feather leakage and meet quality standards. The instrument combines automation, precision, and durability, and operates in compliance with international down-proof testing standards.

Standards

GB/T 12705.1: Textile – Methods of testing down-proof properties – Rubbing test

GB/T 14272: Requirements for down garments

BS EN 12132-1: Feather and down – Methods of testing down-proof properties – Rubbing test

Feature

(1) Automated operation with computer control, auto-shutdown, and alarm at test completion.

(2) LED digital counter with calibration system for precise cycle management (1–9999 rotations).

(3) Robust 316 stainless steel frame for corrosion resistance and long-term durability.

(4) Transparent polycarbonate safety cover allows real-time observation of tests.

(5) Standardized butyl rubber balls simulate real-world friction and down migration stress.

(6) Compact design for easy relocation and space-saving laboratory setup.

(7) Supports international power supply (220V/50Hz).
