Instrument Principle

Determination of the flexing resistance of rubber- or plastic-coated fabrics.

The coated fabric specimen is sewn into a cylindrical shape and mounted between two discs. One disc oscillates around its axis, while the other reciprocates along its axis, causing the specimen to undergo repeated torsion and bending simultaneously.
