The Touch Screen Skein Length Tester is designed to wind yarn or chemical filament yarn into skeins with a specified length. Combined with an electronic balance, it is used to determine the linear density of yarns or chemical filaments, including Tex, Decitex (dtex), Denier (D), yarn count, and other related parameters.The instrument can also be used for winding yarn samples to prepare skein specimens for further testing.

Definition of Yarn Linear Density：

Tex (tex)：Tex refers to the mass in grams of a yarn with a length of 1000 meters under the standard moisture regain condition.

Decitex (dtex)：Decitex refers to the mass in grams of a fiber or yarn with a length of 10.000 meters under the standard moisture regain condition.

Denier (D)：Denier refers to the mass in grams of a fiber with a length of 9.000 meters under the standard moisture regain condition.
