Usually, the reading reflected by the glass rod thermometer we see can be said to be the air temperature under the environmental conditions at that time. So, in a vacuum state, we can see a reading on the glass rod thermometer placed in the vacuum chamber.
Can we say that this temperature is the temperature inside the vacuum chamber?
This is not possible. Because in a vacuum state, there is no air left, and there is no air temperature in the vacuum chamber. The glass rod thermometer only senses the temperature generated by absorbing thermal radiation. The amount of thermal radiation absorbed is closely related to the roughness of the surface of the glass rod thermometer material and the material's ability to absorb, refract, and transmit infrared radiation (thermal engineering term "blackness").
The closer the blackness of an object is to 1, the more radiation heat it absorbs, and the higher the temperature of the object. On the contrary, it is low. At this point, the reading of the glass rod thermometer can only represent the temperature of the glass rod thermometer after absorbing infrared radiation heat, and cannot represent the actual temperature of other workpieces with different materials and surface states after absorbing thermal radiation</ p>
Therefore, when using an electric vacuum drying oven (in vacuum state) for heating, users can refer to the readings of the glass rod thermometer in the vacuum chamber and accumulate and summarize operating experience as much as possible to achieve the desired effect</ p> <p></p></p><p>
