1、Selecting of specimens

 

In order to provide representative specimens, it is necessary to select parts containing different warp and weft yarns, and special attention should be paid to certain specimens with special properties. For example, printed fabrics selected specimens to include the entire pattern, to avoid missing certain friction-sensitive parts; woven fabrics need to maintain a certain distance from the edge of the door width. In addition, the number of specimens selected also affects the accuracy and repeatability of the test. The more the number of specimens tested, the stronger the representation, the higher the accuracy, and conversely, the number is too small, the greater the randomness of the test results, low reliability, the minimum number of specimens selected for 3.

2、Pre-treatment of specimens

 

As the fabric is sent before the test are packed and wound, in a taut state, in order to better test, it needs to be placed in a standard state of flat spread for a period of time, in order to make the fabric under test from the taut state to recover. If the pretreatment is not in place, the fabric is in a taut state and the abrasion resistance becomes poor, which will affect the test accuracy.
