The ultraviolet accelerated aging tester adopts the ultraviolet fluorescent lamp that simulates the UV spectrum in sunlight, and combines the temperature control and humidity supply devices to carry out the climate change test on the material to evaluate the weather resistance of the material.

Applicable standard:
ASTMD4329, ASTMD4587, ASTMD4799, ASTMD5208, ASTMG151, ASTMG154, EN927-6, EN1297, EN1898FIBC, EN12224, EN13523-10, ISO4892-1, ISO4892-3, ISO11507, ISO11895, ISO11997-2, 2SAEJ20620, prEN

Three common UV aging lamps:
UVA-340: Simulates the short and medium wavelength range in the ultraviolet part of sunlight, and is generally used for photoaging tests of outdoor products.
UVA-351: Simulates the short to medium wavelength range in the UV portion of sunlight filtered by window glass, typically used in indoor products.
UVB-313: Emits considerable radiation below 300 nm, which is the nominal cut-off wavelength of solar radiation. This will cause some aging phenomena that do not occur outdoors. It is not recommended to use this light to simulate sunlight. This test is widely used primarily for durability testing of accelerated materials as a qualitative comparison of two or more materials.

UV aging belongs to solar radiation aging, UV is the abbreviation of Ultraviolet (ultraviolet), and is usually used to evaluate the aging speed of products under ultraviolet light. It will be subject to a certain degree of sunlight aging or aging caused by ultraviolet rays in artificial light sources (such as ultraviolet lamps, ultraviolet bands in fluorescent lamps, etc.).
UV Aging Test Chamber
UV aging test stage:

light stage
Simulate the light length of the day in the natural environment (usually between 0.35W/m2~1.35W/m2, the solar light intensity at noon in summer is about 0.55W/m2) and the test temperature (50℃~85℃), in order to simulate The products are used in various environments to meet the test requirements of different regions and industries.

condensation stage
To simulate the phenomenon of fog on the surface of the sample at night, turn off the fluorescent UV lamp (dark state) in the condensation stage, only control the test temperature (40~60℃), and the humidity of the sample surface is 95~100%RH.

spray stage
The process of rain is simulated by continuously spraying water on the surface of the sample. Because the artificial UV accelerated aging test conditions are much harsher than the natural environment, the aging damage that can occur in the natural environment for several years can be simulated and reproduced in a few days or weeks.
