Scope of application.

 

The G301R zipper tester is used to test the zip's load pulling times, i.e. to test the resistance of the zip when it is pulled back and forth at a certain speed. The tester is used to test the zip's ability to withstand a specified number of repetitive pulls under horizontal and vertical tension. The machine drives the zip slider at an equal speed, making 30 repetitive movements per minute until a specified number of times is reached.

The apparatus consists of a set of fixtures and reciprocating motion transmission system and display system. The machine can also be used at customised speeds (20/min, 25/min, 35/min and 40/min), with a stroke of 75mm, a transverse width of 25mm, a longitudinal width of 10mm, a clamping angle of 60° and a total weight of 0.28-0.34kg for the longitudinal clamping device. -Within 12mm.

 

Specific test methods.

 

a. Start the power switch and adjust the knob so that the puller clamping device is in the zui low position, at which time the zui low position indicator lights up.

 

b. Select a suitable thickness positioning piece to fix on the zip slider, fix the zip slider on the pressure piece and lock it in place.

 

c.Roughly fix the end of the zip (lower stop) to the upper clevis first. Secure the front end of the zip (top stop) to the two longitudinal cleats.

 

d. Slightly loosen the upper clevis and pull the end of the zip upwards so that the horizontal line of the longitudinal clamping device is parallel to the horizontal piece, then lock the upper clevis in place.

 

e. Loosen the two horizontal clevises and let the fabric tape on both sides of the zip fit into the two clamps and clamp them together, with the clamp opening approximately 5mm from the foot.

 

f.Adjust the tension of the longitudinal and transverse springs respectively according to the standard.

 

g. Set the number of tests and press the start button to start the test.

 

h. After the number of tests has been reached, the sample is automatically stopped, removed and the degree of damage is observed.
