Q: The software cannot communicate
Answer: The device is connected to the computer through the RS232 communication line or the RS232-USB conversion line. If the RS232-USB conversion cable is used, the driver of the conversion cable needs to be installed.
 
Q: About electrical parameters
Answer: LQS-1200A itself does not include electrical parameter functions. If you need to obtain the electrical parameters of the sample lamp, you need to purchase an additional electrical parameter table. If you purchased our electric parameter table, you can also connect the electric parameter table to the computer through the RS232 or RS232-USB conversion cable, and select the corresponding model in the following position and automatically search for it
 
Q: About the power supply
Answer: LQS-1200A itself does not contain a power supply. If it is necessary to light up the sample, the customer needs the customer to prepare the power supply. If you buy an AC or DC power supply from us, you can also connect the power supply to the computer through the RS232 communication cable or the RS232-USB conversion cable, and then control the AC and DC power supply through the software from the following location of the software. After clicking open, you need to manually select the corresponding model and communication port. If it is a power supply of other brands, you need to manually control the output.
 
Q: I encountered the following prompt when starting the test:
Answer: This prompt is because the angle displayed on the C-axis is not at 0 degrees when the test is started. If you confirm that the C-axis of the lamp is indeed at 0 degrees, click YES, the software will directly set the current C-axis angle to 0 and start the test directly. If the C-axis of the lamp is not at 0 degrees, click NO, the software will turn the C-axis back to 0 degrees according to the displayed angle value and then start the test.
 
Q: How to test double-sided lighting fixtures
Answer: LQS-1200A can only test the light intensity distribution within the Gamma angle of plus or minus 90 degrees. If the lamp emits light on both sides, the two sides can be lighted separately, and two tests can be carried out. Note: The two tests need to use the same C angle range and interval, and the same G angle range and interval as before. Two .igf files were measured. Q: About calibration and test distance
Answer: The position of the LQS-1200A probe is fixed and does not require calibration. As shown in the figure below, there are two positions in the darkroom where the probe can be fixed.
 
Generally, the probe is fixed at the far end, and the test distance is 1 meter. If you need to move the probe to the near end to test a single LED or a weak light source, you can manually modify the following test distance to 0.317 meters. The test distance is 0.317 meters
 
Q: UGR table has no data
Answer: Please see the picture below. It is necessary to input the size of the light-emitting surface in the left column, and then the software can automatically calculate the UGR table based on the light intensity distribution data and the size of the light-emitting surface.
