The universal wear tester is an instrument for testing the wear properties of materials. It can test different types of materials, including metals, plastics, rubber, ceramics, etc. universal wear tester can simulate different wear environments, such as sliding wear, abrasive wear, corrosive wear, etc. Through the test, the wear resistance of the material can be evaluated, thus guiding the selection and use of the material.

The universal wear tester typically consists of a rotating shaft and a test specimen that simulates the wear of a material. The test sample can be a variety of material shapes, such as metals, plastics, rubber, ceramics, etc. During the test, the sample is placed on a rotating axis and comes into contact with another friction body (e.g. sandpaper, steel balls, etc.) to test the wear resistance of the material by friction and abrasion.

The universal wear tester has a wide range of applications in industrial production, materials research and quality testing. For example, it can be used to test the abrasion resistance of materials such as automotive parts, tool blades, mechanical parts, medical devices and artificial joints. In addition, the universal wear tester can be used to study material tribology, wear mechanisms and lubricant performance.
