Zipper is a common connector widely used in clothing, bags, household items and other fields. In order to ensure the quality and performance of zippers, various physical performance tests are required. The following are some common zipper physical performance test standards:

1. Pull Test:
This test is used to evaluate the strength and durability of the zipper. The test method includes fixing both ends of the zipper, then applying different pulling forces, and recording the maximum pulling force and stretching distance. Depending on the use and needs of the product, different pulling forces and stretching distances can be used. For example, for clothing zippers, a pulling force of 10-20N and a stretching distance of 30-60mm are generally used.

2. Slip test:
This test is used to evaluate the smoothness and abrasion resistance of the zipper. The test method includes pulling the zipper at a fixed angle, recording the pulling force and sliding distance, and then calculating the coefficient of friction. Generally, the coefficient of friction should be between 0.3-0.6 to ensure the smoothness and wear resistance of the zipper.

3. Opening and closing force test:
This test is used to evaluate the opening and closing force and durability of the zipper. The test method includes fixing both ends of the zipper, and then recording the opening and closing force and the number of opening and closing times. Depending on the use and needs of the product, different opening and closing forces and opening and closing times can be used. For example, for luggage zippers, the opening and closing force of 20-30N and the opening and closing times of 5000-10000 times are usually used.

4. Corrosion resistance test:
This test is used to evaluate the corrosion resistance of the zipper. The test method includes placing the zipper in different corrosive liquids, such as salt water, acid, lye, etc., and then recording the appearance and performance changes of the zipper. In general, zippers should be able to maintain good appearance and performance in different corrosive fluids.

5. Heat resistance test:
This test is used to evaluate the heat resistance of the zipper. The test method includes exposing the zipper to a high temperature environment, such as 100°C, 120°C, etc., and then recording the appearance and performance changes of the zipper. In general, zippers should be able to maintain good appearance and performance in high temperature environments.

These standards apply not only to the production and quality control of zipper products, but also to the testing and certification of zipper products. By complying with these standards, the quality and reliability of zippers can be ensured, and the competitiveness and market share of products can be improved.
